Dr. Elijah Wreh is a scholar-pastor whose life and ministry bridge biblical scholarship, pastoral leadership, and professional excellence. He serves as Senior Pastor of The Anointed Church of Jesus Christ in Elyria, Ohio, which he founded in 2016, leading a congregation committed to expository, Christ-centered preaching. In that same year, he established Transformation By the Word as a platform for expository Bible teaching, pastor training, and global discipleship.
On March 27, 2026, Mayor Kevin A. Brubaker of the City of Elyria designated Dr. Wreh as the City Pastor of Elyria, Ohio — a civic recognition of the ministry’s commitment to the spiritual and community life of the city.

Christ-Centered — proclaiming Jesus Christ as the central figure of all Scripture and the only hope of salvation
